Ischemia Reperfusion Injury (IRI) is contributing to morbidity and mortality in various cardiac diseases including coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). We hypothesized that CABG induced IRI is resulting in capillary leakage due to Angiopoietins (ANG) and cardiomyocytes dysfunction affecting perioperative morbidity after CABG.
