Jet conversions in a quark-gluon plasma

We report our recent work on conversions between gluon and quark jets as they traverse through a quark-gluon plasma (QGP) and their effects on the nuclear modification factors for quark and gluon jets as well as the ratios of p/p+ and $\bar{p}$/p- at high transverse momentum in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions.
