ABSTRACT

In order to control the request flow in Computer Networks, a proxy server is used. Proxy Server is a server which acts as an intermediary server between server and clients. The more adaptable and converted attack is Web proxy-based HTTP attack in the existing DDoS attacks. In most of the large-scale official proxies which are usually configured to have high security sometimes cannot avoid being abused for the proxy base attacks. This type of attacks introduces new challenges to the existing security systems of the network. Web application is a set of technologies which serves for the web service. It is a good security practice to implement additional precautions to every mitigation level including the web application level for bringing the HTTP flood attack awareness for the web application. Here we introduce the detection and prevention of these flood attacks and DDoS attacks by using their frequency of request sequence arrival.
