Growing and symptomatic intracranial arachnoid cyst in an elderly patient: a case report and literature review

Abstract We report an elderly patient with a symptomatic and growing arachnoid cyst. Physician should be cautious in counseling asymptomatic arachnoid cyst patients, regardless of their age, and inform them of the possibility, although rare, of growth and symptom development even in their late life.
