Highlights • The study investigates how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted travel satisfaction.• The effect of daily activity engagement and sociodemographic attributes is explored.• Travel for non-mandatory activity is positively associated with travel satisfaction.• Results can be used to enhance the activity participation and well-being of an individual.
