ABSTRACT

Key Points Terminal maturation of primary murine primitive erythroid precursors is characterized by loss of organelles and anabolic components. Metabolic reprogramming includes depression of mitochondrial metabolism and upregulation of the pentose phosphate pathway and redox metabolism.
