Highlights • The high and low temperature TDT landscape of Folsomia candida was defined.• Acclimation temperature had substantial effects on cold and heat tolerance.• The rate of thermal injury accumulation was influenced by acclimation.• Plasticity of cold tolerance was greater than heat tolerance.
