Pythium myriotylum is a major pathogen responsible for the post‐harvest losses of ginger rhizomes. Developing effective antifungal materials to protect the ginger rhizome from infestation is crucial. This study aims to synthesise and evaluate chitosan‐PVA‐based bionanocomposite films incorporated with turmeric oil (TO) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) for their antifungal efficacy against P. myriotylum.
