The integration, which presents both opportunities and problems for research and implementation, enhances its importance. By integrating advanced AI-driven insights with virtual replicas, it possesses the capability to revolutionize multiple industries. An analysis of keyword usage in papers spanning from 2019 to 2023 reveals that deep learning, reinforcement learning, digital twins, machine learning and artificial intelligence have exerted a significant influence. The network visually represents author collaborations by displaying nodes that represent the contributions of individual authors, connected via collaborative links. The surge in document releases is a clear indication of the expanding volume of research in this domain, encompassing all forms of publications and showcasing the increasing involvement and enthusiasm of scholars. Ultimately, the authors underscored the research capacity of AI-ML for digital twinning by highlighting barriers and recent opportunities.
