Abstract. The phenomenon of celebrity worship among K-pop fans often manifests as high emotional involvement with idols, including behaviors such as fanaticism, fanwars, and cyberbullying. These behaviors may impact psychological well-being or subjective well-being, but previous studies have shown inconsistent result. This study aims to examine the influence of celebrity worship on subjective well-being among K-pop fans in Indonesia, considering the large fanbase and its potential psychological effect. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal design and a cross-sectional survei method. The study involved 384 active K-pop fans aged 18-40, selected using convenience sampling. Data werw collected using questionnaires, utilizing the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The result showed no significant influence of celebrity worship on subjective well-being (R2 = 0.003; p > 0.05). Most respondent were at a low level of celebrity worship. These findings suggest that light involvement in celebrity worship is not sufficient to significantly affect psychological well-being. Future research is recommended to use a sampling technique that is more aligned with the research objectives. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner menggunakan instrumen Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS), Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), dan Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui analisis statistik regresi linier sederhana.
