ABSTRACT

Smartphone based image processing technology has become a very common and indispensable tool in the modern health care sector for quick diagnostic purposes of several wearable sensors. Image processing capabilities help in the detection and extraction of desired features like size, shape, color of any diagnostically relevant captured image through mobile phone and generate quantitative information of the same which can be used by the end used for an immediate first hand information for any diagnosis. Present work decreases smartphone-based image processing for colorimetric detection of glucose levels. Images with variation in color intensity for different concentrations of glucose levels, built on paper-based substrates and were captured using a smartphone and quantified through Swift UI based IOS mobile application and corresponding levels were quantified and validated through experimental results.
