ABSTRACT We report the complete genome sequence of strain MRC-7, which represents a potentially novel genus within the family Opitutaceae. The genome was 4,342,534 bp in size and contained 3,428 protein-coding sequences, several of which were predicted to be involved in pectin degradation.
