Social connectedness plays a crucial role in promoting the well-being of older adults. However, in intergenerational communication, building sustainable emotional connections is challenging due to media limitations and generational gaps. Through preliminary investigation of the varying needs and situations in intergenerational communication, we propose a prototype design of a modular tangible interaction medium. Characterized by its lightweight, ambient, and multimodal features, EverBond can seamlessly integrate into different routine communication, facilitating ubiquitous emotional information sharing and exchange.
