Evaluating interest in an influenza A(H5N1) vaccine among laboratory workers who work with highly-pathogenic avian influenza viruses in the United States

Highlights • Highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses pose an occupational risk to laboratorians.• The majority of survey respondents were interested in the Q-Pan H5N1 vaccine.• Interest in vaccination varied by role in the laboratory and time spent with HPAI viruses.• Q-Pan H5N1 vaccine could be used in tandem with current biosafety practices for HPAI laboratorians.
