Azospirillum brasilense affects the antioxidant activity and leaf pigment content of Urochloa ruziziensis under water stress 1

Plants need water for growing and sustaining vital activities. Their metabolism changes under water stress, which is one of the greatest challenges in agriculture, especially for crops predisposed to adverse weather conditions. The formation of reactive oxygen species in plants occurs in oxygen-dependent processes, such as photosynthesis.
