The horizontal transport of near-bottom particles by solitary internal waves and comparison of the form of particle trajectories for different horizons are considered in the framework of weakly nonlinear theory of wave motion in stratified ocean. The calculations are made for a geographical location in the south-eastern part of the Baltic Sea. It is shown that even in this basin with weak density stratification particle transport distance can reach hundreds of meters for moderate solitary wave amplitudes.
