Highlights • Survivability of PEDV in spray dried bovine plasma (SDBP) was assessed.• PEDV titers (TCID50) and loads expressed (qRT-PCR Ct values) were correlated.• PEDV inoculated on bovine plasma was inactivated at either 70 or 80 °C throughout substance.• PEDV lost infectivity when stored at 22 °C (7 days), 12 °C (14 days) and 4 °C (21 days).
