Endophyllum macowanianum a new combination for Aecidium macowanianum (Uredinales — Pucciniaceae) and a note on E. macowanii

The rust fungus Aecidium macowanianum Thum. occurring on Conyza species (Asteraceae), is transferred to the genus Endophyllum Lev., as the new combination Endophyllum macowanianum (Thum.) A.R. Wood. This species should not be confused with the similarly named E . macowanii Pole Evans occurring on Rhamnus prinoides L'Her. (Rhamnaceae).
