Colorimetric chemosensors are devices that change chemical information into analytically useful signals which can be seen via naked eye. Recently, the design and development of colorimetric chemosensors for d-metal ions have obtained extremely large significance because of their extensive use in analytical, physiology, medical diagnostics, catalysis and environmental chemistry. Chemosensors offer an accurate and low cost finding of d-metal ions, enzymes and toxic heavy metal ions with high selectivity and sensitivity. This review covers in depth account of research publication of over 16 years’ period 2003–2018.","claims":[{"public_id":"cl_1635ba66a9443218c7eeaac84e1b404f","status":"active","text":"Colorimetric
