Staff at Lancaster University have developed a series of novel selflearning materials on introductory statistics. These are prepared to emulate an interactive workshop environment where a tutor can motivate and guide the learners with stimulating questions. They are intended to provide a gentle introduction to (or reminder of!) basic statistical techniques, for any level of students, without assuming any background in statistics. The materials are divided into four parts:
