MATERIAL AND METHODS

Plant Material (Fresh samples) Fresh samples of plant species i.e. Clitoria ternatea, Convolvulus pluricaulis and Evolvulus alsinoides were collected from Aravali foothills (Delhi and Sohna, Haryana), Gangetic Plains (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), Mid-hills (Srinagar, Uttarakhand), Arid zone (Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur, Rajasthan), Vindhyachal (Bhopal and Panchmarhi, Madhya Pradesh) and Niligiris (Wastern Ghats) (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu) (Table 2).
