ABSTRACT

swered. For example, how to proceed from acknowledging the need for de-demonisation to actually implementing it, which is the real challenge? The volume initiates a much-needed conversation in the current discourse on the East–West divide, dominated by one-dimensional and dangerously uncritical thinking. This is a must-read for anyone interested in North Korea, China and East Asian affairs.
