Abstract Endophytes are the microbes which reside inside all the plants without having any pathogenic signs and adverse effect on their hosts. They are potential producer of several bioactive substances, chemicals and metabolites which have various agricultural and medical applications. This chapter will cover the comprehensive review of the work done on applications of fungal endophytes in the area of plant growth promotion and their antimicrobial activities against pathogens across the globe.
