ABSTRACT The study aims to establish a correlation between birdwatching and dedication to the environment. The research examines how various experiences in an avitourism environment affect visitors’ well-being and encourage them to adopt environmentally responsible behaviour (ERB). Drawing upon the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) model, the conceptual model is developed, and formulated hypotheses are tested using structural equation modelling (SEM) using 305 responses collected from the birder tourists. This connection opens up possibilities for additional research into the possible effects of these recreational activities on an individual's well-being, promoting environmentally conscious behaviour and ultimately benefiting society’s overall welfare. From a business perspective, the proposed framework serves as a guide for emphasizing the expectations of tourists and can help the businesses improve their competitiveness and attract more tourists.
