A Survey on Tibetan-Chinese Machine Translation

Due to the scarcity of resources, the research on Tibetan-Chinese machine translation methods has certain particularity and importance. This paper reviews the development process and main methods of machine translation research, and summarizes the research status of Tibetan-Chinese machine translation in detail. Aiming at the problems faced by Tibetan-Chinese machine translation, this paper puts forward research directions such as data augmentation, transfer learning and large language model. Finally, the future research ideas of Tibetan-Chinese machine translation are discussed.
