Observation of the Stealthy-Hyperuniform Transition in Photonic Crystal Slabs

We experimentally investigate spatially correlated stealthy-hyperuniform disorder in photonic crystal slabs. Here, long-wavelength disorder fluctuations (and light scattering) are suppressed up to a characteristic wavenumber. We observe this as manifested in photonic bands linewidth transition.
