ABSTRACT The metabolomics of Enterobacter hormaechei-mediated solid-state fermentation in tobacco leaves is underexplored. Utilizing gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, we identified 300 dynamically regulated metabolites, including amino acids, carbohydrates, and organic acids. This dataset elucidates phase-specific biochemical shifts during fermentation, enhancing understanding of microbial-driven tobacco modification.
