ABSTRACT

Abstract A survey of the performance of two randombred control populations over nine generations indicated evidence of little genetic drift. The linear regression coefficient of the difference between the two randombred controls on generations was significant for only 3 of 21 traits. These were average clutch length, 16-week male body weight and 24-week female body weight.
